Carrying an old Hatch today

That's a beautiful OLD Hatch you have there, Ike. I believe they were quite early in Connecticut cutleries.
It is a real looker with those sweet, fine, long pulls. Little pins and Ebony; Wow!

Thank you, Joe, I really like it. I only own a couple.

Edit: My "Holy Grail knife" is a Hatch from the Buchanan factory, but I doubt if I will ever see one. I lived about 20 miles away from Buchanan for a few years back in the 70's.

On a side Note:
I have been carrying one of these small Victorinox Classic SD knives for several years now. Always carried a red one before my wife bought me this orange colored one and I noticed that there is a slight size difference. The red one that I carried before fit tightly in the pictured black knife slip. The newer orange colored Victorinox fits loosely, you could almost say sloppy in the knife slip. Although I never measured them, slips don't lie. May only be 1 or 2mm but I am sure there is a size difference.

Today, it's the Victorinox SAK "Tinker" (1986-92). Carried this one a lot while in the USAF (retired in '99 with 20+). Actually skinned a black bear with it in western Washington back in '95. It's been a good one (and still is!) I thought it might help me to hunker down and stealthily ride out the rest of the year.
