Real Stag Ackermanchen or Rescale?

Somone posted photos of an Ackerman Switchblade but instead of plastic and square button it's a round button in Stag.Anyone know if this knife is legit?

This is my friend’s collection. He on the board of Historians at the Coltellerie Museum in Maniago, Italy located at the old famous Coltellerie Riuinte factory.

Anyone know when these were made and by which maker? I guess there is a huge discussion in Facebook but I left FB recently. But people just copied my info and posted it there.

Lots of variations. There is an original patent for one of these models that is VASTLY different than the production models.

Several varieties are seen in several different catalogs.

You hit the nail on the head. Original post was trying to Authenticate it. I Looks good to me but I figured here would be some minds that have far more info than myself.For me Im still learning and would like to know if I find one in the field. I was also entertaining making an offer on it and was hoping for some confirmation. You post a Hens tooth knife and you don't expect people to go to the forums for info they don't have? Nobody was claiming it was theirs,chill.

I’ll be offering free appraisals for vintage and antique switchblades on my website. No need to charge people and that way if one does happen to be wrong you can’t really complain. lol.

Well, you’ve been so nice to me here. I haven’t been in a big rush, but I have a meeting on Thursday and it’s possible will be ready on Thursday but don’t quote me on that.

I have always helped in this hobby and shared what I can. I hope the hobby keeps growing and getting bigger and better.

I also know how prickly other websites can be. No one likes a teacher with an attitude, not conducive to learning in my opinion. That's why I frequent AAPK and not the others.
