67th Anniversary

Post by Reverand »

My parents are celebrating 67 years of marriage today!
I took a picture of them in their recliners this morning, but had to promise Mom that I would not post it.
Dad was 18 and Mom was 15 when they got married, and they drove off the mountain to the courthouse in a car without working brakes.
And they are still crazy in love with one another today!
I Thank God for my loving parents!
Jesus is life.
Everything else is just a hobby.

That is a wonderful true story,
Too be married for such a long time is so rare. It becomes hard to find an anniversary card for that type of longevity.
Congratulations to all of your family on such a great achievement.

Congrats to the happy couple and may they enjoy many more. My mom and dad had their 70th in may of 2002, mom passed away in October and dad in the following February both at 92 years of age. Wasn't a record by any stretch, but as brother said at the time it's a dang good average. ::handshake::
