Here are some small sewing needles I stumbled across while looking for fish hooks some time ago.
I think their size is pretty remarkable. The process to make them must be remarkable.

I know "next to nothing" about the subject matter, but find this an interesting post. I will show this to my sister, who is a quilter. She inherited a couple of treadle sewing machines, one from each side of the family.

Here's an old froe. Hand forged. 11 1/2" - 3 inch blade.
Used for kindling, I would imagine.
Can't quite read the date on it. :mrgreen:
