Certainly a Rare Tidioute knife but seriously priced
As many if you know I am very knowledgeable about the knives from Tidioute in my 40 plus years of research and collecting I've never seen one if these. I'm not calling it fake. I'd love to examine it up close.
Here is a link to the eBay sale. https://ebay.us/m/aRuVDs
An unusual pattern for sure. It does show that new things still surface after over 100 years

Another Show-er, not a Sell-er.
Very interesting knife though.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

That’s a ton of money,
I think my dad did some of that showing not selling at the shows.
There was a gentleman in the Midwest division TCA. That always had a table and nothing was for sale.

If seller would consider moving the decimal three to the left I could be a player
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

I'm just going to say it's butt ugly.

People are probably sending him reasonable (if it's real) offers and after a while he'll take the highest one.

Very interesting knife to say the least, especially being a very early “spring loaded out the front switchblade”. Not many of those of any style or maker seen from this time period, very cool !

That may be why it never made it to production. That's a crazy amount of money but some will pay for a one off, but it ain't me.
