As I understand it, this was the last model that A.G. Russell approved for production. He passed away while they were being made.

No sir! I've had that piece since 2012! Its sure made well. THICK stock on the blades! And you better be wearing your suspenders when you carry that rascal or you would look like a couple of my daughters boyfriends with their britches hung so low you could see their drawers. never understood that!!

My pension check would only buy used Imperials (which are good knives, dont get me wrong!) I would have had to retire in Illinois to been able to afford Schatts!
