That is a beauty.TripleF wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 4:57 pm Was invited to an Easter meal yesterday and would be meeting new folks for the first time so I wanted
to carry my usual gear (which includes one fixed blade on my belt) but I didn't want to be thought of as
Rambo, so I opted for a handsome custom knife by Jeffinn! He gifted this beauty to me a few years back
and it was with yesterday and on my walk today....

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Hoffman Group/Holex Kabelmesser/Cable Splitting Knife; two blade.
Quality is really good. This particular knife has half-stops on both the hawkbill and sheepsfoot blades. Great snap too. Decent edges, and the notch in the sheepsfoot blade strips some pretty heavy gauge wire easily.
COO is unknown, but the only marking aside from the company branding on the scales and etched into the blade is "STAINLESS STEEL" so I'm betting Chinese given it wasn't even $20. Hoffman is a large German industrial supplier (with an American arm in Knoxville), so I'm surprised they don't actually mark the COO on these.

I don't have any John Deere Green in my pocket, but I do have an E.C. Simmons 2765BL E.O. for Two Blade Tuesday.
