Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
No sir. Not that one. That one was gifted to me by my 95 year old neighbor Barney who since has passed away. I used to show him all my knives when I would find one. He knew my interest in knives. So we were sitting on the front porch of his house during the evening, as we did alot, and he went into his house and came out with a little zip lock bag with about 4 or 5 knives in it. He handed it to me and said pick one. I want you to have something to remember me by. So there was a little buck in there and this case as well as a few little colonials. I picked this old case. The blade had a few chips in it. I sent it back to the Case factory and asked them to sharpen the chips out. They did this for me and oiled it up and sent it back to me (free of charge). I cant say enough about case as a company. I really miss Barney. We used to have many a talk on that front porch of his. I used to have an old Pecan tree in my yard and I would take him bags of pecans. He was a good man and a good friend. I smile when I carry this old Case. That's what collecting or accumulating knives is all about to me. Our hobby. The stories, not exactly the knives themselves. Sorry for the rant Ike. I was just reminiscing!

A recent post elsewhere inspired me to pocket my Buck 661 Pursuit today. This one doesn’t get as much pocket time as it deserves but every time I carry it I wonder why I waited so long.

Sweet Bucks, and send some rain this way. It's been too dry for this time of year.
