Hunting with pocket knives of course

Post by Javis304 »

I’ll start by saying I love to hunt and also enjoy traditional pocket knives. So I use whatever I’m carrying in my pocket to field dress and skin game

Nice pics, squirrel season is 3 months away here (Illinois) so I can't add any until then, but I do the same as you, use whatever I happen to be carrying.

This one is arguably my favorite hunting knife for all manner of game. GEC 23 just enough blade for cleaning deer, etc. Takes a razor edge. And the blades are big enough to slice homemade bread, so that’s pretty much makes it the perfect pocket knife for me

Anybody been turkey hunting? I’ve been a few times with no luck. I’ve been out trying to roost one of the evenings and can’t even get one to shock gobble!
