I recently sold a Boker to eBay user: johwake-29 (he's now blocked). After I sold another Boker to another buyer
I discovered I sent the wrong knife to johwake-29.
I asked if he would do a free return......over and over and over. He finally said I'll just keep this one, I just don't
have time to go to the post office.
Now, the other person won't get the knife they ordered.

SO, now how are you taking care of your other buyer? Do you offer him a full refund, a discount if he decides to keep what he receives, other? What's your plan to mitigate two Ebay complaints because one buyer doesn't want to make a PO stop? It's an honest mishap - but I see the portential for two buyers get cool Boker knives and Full refunds from Ebay. Ouch!

A tricky situation there. I wonder how far it is to the Post Office for the buyer. For me with typical traffic and wait time at the PO it is about an hour from the time I leave until I get back. It is enough bother that I do not return stuff. Just a week or so ago I got a little knife off Ebay that was new in box and had two cracked scales. I just kept it instead of making a trip to return it. You could offer to send the buyer a stamped envelope so he could just put it in his mailbox.

I do offer no hassle FREE returns. Just put a label on it and drop it in your mailbox.Dinadan wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2026 3:14 am A tricky situation there. The first guy doesn't care.....as I said. He has a knife and won't be filing anything with eBay.Lars0729 wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2026 11:49 pm SO, now how are you taking care of your other buyer? But, you'd think as a knife he'd understand how important it is to get what you ordered and help out a fellow knife seller who made a mistake.
