Cold Steel Engage 2.5 today. About 3.5 inches closed with a 2.5 inch blade. It’s basically a lock back except instead of pushing down on the lock release, you push it back.

Engage indeed. Nice knife.

Kershaw Launch 10.

Pretty sure this is the most I've spent on "just a knife"--bought a couple months after the ban was repealed as I wanted a small auto that was well-made and could get locally (the local knife store kind of shot themselves in the foot by trying to only sell upscale stuff--in other words, they didn't sell Boker AKs)--but still, $100. But the Launch 10 checked all the boxes--and was a hawkbill. However, I don't carry it much. Decided that would change.

One thing that complicates matters for me--I prefer the "Cali Legal" sizes, as they're all the knife I need.
