Well no it's not that great this morning. I had a rough night with low blood oxygen and low blood sugar.
I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Have a blessed day and be safe....

Good morning. David, sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Pray the Dr. can get things back to a better place quickly, or that God would fix it even better without big Pharma getting involved. It's 54 and raining here but should see some sun this afternoon. I'm heading to town and starting a kitchen remodel that should last much of the week. Our dump trailer is full so that gets emptied on the way to town. Tonight the local Bible camp, which is partially owned by our church, is putting on a supper meeting for those of us who volunteered to be a prayer support partner with a summer staff person. A ton of kids go through the program each summer and have been since the 1950's or so. The camp is mentioned in a lot of testimonies I've heard over the years as a point in people's lives that helped them get on the right path growing up. It used to be a summer only program, but they've upgraded many, if not all the buildings for year around use. I better stop yacking and get moving before the day starts without me. Good morning All,
I am having my first cup, here in the hospital this morning. After my right shoulder surgery May 3rd, I thought everything was going well. I started getting some red streaks around the scar this last Thursday, a month after the surgery. On Friday the doctor said go to the ER get it checked out, so I did. They thought it was okay, and sent me home. Saturday, the scar from the incision was getting red streaks going down my chest and the whole area was an angry red color. I called the doctor and they said go to the ER again. So I have been here in the hospital since Saturday night waiting for them to figure out what's going on. Sunday, the doctors stuck a needle in my shoulder joint and drew off 18 cc of fluid. They are running tests on the fluid to see what kind of infection I may have. A doctor said it could be cellulitis which didn't concern him a whole lot. He said that's pretty easy to treat, but he said if the infection in the joint itself is much more concerning and could even be life-threatening. That is exciting! I could go see the Lord! My wife however, was a little less excited. LOL
Anyway, I'm hanging out in the hospital being lazy, waiting for the doctors to figure out what they're going to do. They told me yesterday they may have to do surgery and clean the joint out.
That didn't sound horribly exciting to me!

David and Dale, I'm sending up prayers for both of you to experience Gods healing touch.
I'm dealing with a sick dog. Cleatus, my German Shepherd mix slowed down on his eating several days ago and then a couple of days after that started vomiting up what he ate. The vet says his bloodwork is way out of kilter and that his liver function is not good at all. He suspects a medication he has been taking for a few months now may be the culprit. The vet prescribed three different meds. Cleatus has made it abundantly clear he does not intend to be an easy patient to care for, refusing to swallow his pills. It's been a battle. Right now, we're waiting on a call from the vet to discuss plan B.

67, cloudy and absolutely soaked here in the Missouri Ozarks and we're looking at a high of 83.
My...not much good news to start the new week. Prayers for philco, orvet and dlr!
Cat litters to get to and trying to tear out shrubs in the backyard. I have four of the six out, but weather and life has kept me from getting to the remaining two. Thankfully, getting these removed wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Some informative videos on Youtube were very helpful.
The wife has come down sick with a persistent cough and drainage. We're not sure if it's allergies or a cold. But trying to take care of her mother while battling this has proved a challenge.

I hope you're improving and beginning to feel better. You can't be going "anywhere" 'cause you haven't yet seen what I found on EBAY. I haven't received them in the mail yet, but I just found 10 Kodachrome slides from about 1955 of workers at the Camillus factory.

Good morning. 56 degrees and cloudy here but we should see the sun around noon. Dale, I pray you get better soon and back on track with your recovery. And David, I pray you get good results too, and soon. Phil, I hope and pray your pup gets back to health and starts eating and keeping it down. Our Belgian does that with any meds we try to sneak into her. Sometimes we get away with it with cheese, but usually she figures that out too and separates the pills from the cheese and spits out the pill and swallows the cheese. The kitchen we tore out yesterday was originally put together in place by someone that was determined for it to stay that way. It was nailed together one board at a time with one dozen or more nails for each board. All the trim boards were nailed on with nails every couple of inches, so a 1X2 by 30-inch board would have 12 to 15 nails holding it on. We have to remove a wall too, and that is built with a plaster surface, reenforced with metal mesh so that is slow going. We only work by the hour, so it's all on the homeowner's dime. Today should have been a work at the pawnshop day but woke up with my face all swollen up, can barely see or drink coffee without drooling down my chin.
Forecast is 90’s and high humidity so a heat advisory today. So will be staying in the AC

Morning folks, 73 the low heading to the mid 80's we got a shower overnight the floater in the rain might even be floating. Scattered showers predicted. We'll see light sprinkles now.
Dale sure hope they get this straightened out. David hope you feel better soon, and I hope ole cleatus gets to feeling better too. Will be sending prayers .
Wampus was in full bloom this morning ate like a pig, I think he was glad to see this ole man get back home and to spoiling him.
It's sure good to be home safe and sound, the Lord blessed us again.
High gas prices sure doesn't seem to have slowed traveling down including the boss and l.
Grass is needing a shave & haircut. I'll tend to it if we can get some drying time.
Got fresh hummer food out, suet and seed cake for the woodpeckers, they probably start hitting it as soon as they realize it's there.

PS. Dang Bogi that sure doesn't sound good, are you gonna get it checked out?

Man, if it isn't one thing it's another. Dale I'm praying for you and it sure seems like we have a lot of folks sick or hurting somehow right now. I have my appointment at 1pm with my lung doctor who is most likely going to do another CT scan especially after my stay in the hospital with pneumonia. I'm just going to say a big prayer for all of us on AAPK that our health and that of our families would improve very soon. Have a blessed day and be safe.....

Draggin' around this morning, been to men's prayer meeting at 6am, then a call from our eldest daughter, I made a call to a sister-in-law having a birthday today, then call called another sister-in-law to remind her of the birthday. Miss Joy had everyone's birthday marked on the pages of a 365 day devotional book that she had used for many, many years. I'm able to continue her tradition, calling these folks on their special day.
Got all the grass cutting finished, we'll start again probably Friday.
It was 74 degrees earlier this morning and there is a light sprinkle going on, no enough to keep a feller in the house.
Y'all continue to pray for Dale as he goes through the issue with his shoulder.

77 and rain (so what else is new) with a high of 89 after clearing.
Good grief! Rain, and water and precip and moisture and whatever else in liquid form is just soaking and oversaturating my part of the Missouri Ozarks! There has been mud in my yard and places around the neighborhood for weeks! I'm getting close to putting a mower deck on a motor boat to mow my yard. Yeesh.
My prayers as well to AAPK and those ailing. We need much more good news around here.
Glad Wampus is still him after homer's absence.
Not sure what's on the agenda today. Wanted to finish my shrub pulling, but the area where they are is like fudge. Maybe an off day and let it dry out a little.

Morning folks, 68 heading to the low 90's .we finally got some much needed rain 3.6 inches yestiddy afternoon ii was trying to text some and the weather advisory kept tellling to stay home because of flash flooding..
Wampus was awol I reckon, he might be sleeping in.
VA appointment this my newest hearing aids are on the fritz.
Got about half the yard mowed before the rain hit, hopefully this beautiful sunshine will will dry things up and I'll finish this afternoon.

Good morning. I too am praying for ALL of you here. I'm not doing bad and work has been brutal, so I don't know why I'm not more sore than I am. The tear down of the kitchen remodel has been slow going. Whoever built this kitchen, both the cabinets and the wall we removed, were way over built. If the whole house is built the way the kitchen was, it would be a good place to weather a tornado. This morning I have a post-op from my shoulder and hip shot procedure. I'm not sure what that is all about because I don't remember having one the other time when I had the hip and back shots. The rest of the day will be spent getting the floor and walls ready for the new cabinets. It feels good working on someone else's project instead of our own building and getting a paycheck. It stormed here last night and Gypsy wasn't impressed. She is still sleeping and if she doesn't start moving soon I'll have to check on her to make sure the thunder didn't scare her to death. Melody just informed me that more storms are supposed to be coming in this afternoon. We do need the rain. Have a great Wednesday and be well my friends._____Dave

Up early and got wrapped up with a few things and lost track of time and about to miss my AAPK morning fix.
67 degrees around daylight, 84% humidity and now its 81 with the same humidity. Hot is in the forecast from now until October, I'm afraid. Lots of grass cutting in the next 5 months.
Busy week so far and will continue to be that way, workday tomorrow and then we're having some friends visit for the weekend. they'll be staying at the Falling Waters State Park in a camper but will spend time during the day visiting here at Starvation Plantation and other old friends around the community. More about them later.
Got a note from Dale yesterday, saying he was probably be going home, shoulder issues were much better. Just waiting on the doctor.

After seeing the lung doctor yesterday he told me that the pulmonary fibrosis has not progressed any from the last check-up and that my breathing capacity is still good given my age and condition. He is keeping me on oxygen as needed and started me on a different solution for my breathing treatments. Bible study at church tonight and my youngest son and his wife are coming over and going with us. I've bought some more knives but I have to wait on USPS to get them here and hopefully it's not by way of some place I've never heard of. Need to get back out in the garage and get to work, have a blessed day and be safe...
