I have the Birchfield Camp Jack in green and both the black and red Tuckahoe Jack. As always these three knives pass my tests for ownership. They are sensibly priced; appealing to the eye in style and color; excellent craftmanship and materials; and they fit the bill for what I want in a pocket knife. Lile the grey/black one, reminds me of the queen winterbottom bone, i think its called?

Two brand new versions of the RoseCraft Pattern 17 Tanasi Lake Tear Drop are headed your way - with some updates! The RCT017-BJB has Blue Jigged Bone covers and the RCT017-DJB has Dapper Jigged Bone covers. Both are made with 14C28N rather than D2, and both now carry the Diamond shield rather than the original Rosebud shield. They are both origin marked and are the first knives to come in the new dark gray RoseCraft box. And finally, we have started chamfering the edges of our handle material, so they are more smooth and rounded.
The RoseCraft Blades Tanasi Lake Tear Drop is a one-bladed slip joint that features a 2.8″ 14C28N spear point blade with heavy swedging, a half stop, a long pull and a brushed satin finish. It has brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, nickel silver pins, and the stainless steel Diamond shield. It’s 3.5″ closed, 6.3″ open, and weighs 2.3oz. Designed by Andy Armstrong.

Just got these today from our very own Tony at Corn Creek Cutlery. These two knives are spectacular.
The NEW Tanasi Lake Tear Drop with a spear point blade is now in 14C28N. The shield is now the Diamond Shield, and the covers are now chamfered smooth at the edges of the dapper jigged bone all designed by Andy Armstrong. Once again every seam, every pin and bolster are evenly smooth. The blades are perfectly centered and the price is better than average at $62.99. They have already sold out online and the only place to get them are from dealers such as our own certified dealier Tony with Corn Creek Cutlery. If you want one you better act fast!
