Help identifying maker of fish-knife

All it says FISH-KNIFE and USA on blade.
Handle looks like bakelite.

Now that l know the brand, l saw a bunch online, as its nothing special l will clean up the blade and use it for every day carry.

I always love the scaler back on the knife vs the secondary blade, though I'm not sure how practical it is. Looks cool though. Like a gator in your pocket

I'm with you on that! I tried to use one to scale a fish once and realize there was no place to put my finger except on the blade when scaling a fish.
Trying to use the knife with the blade closed is not too practical because you get the slime and the scales in your hand and it's difficult to hang on to the knife.
I prefer a two blade version with the scaler on the secondary blade, such as the hook remover. That way I can put my thumb on the unsharpened blade to apply pressure to the scaler without cutting my thumb.
I do like a single blade a fish knife when cleaning a nice mess of Rainbow trout. The Rainbow trout don't need to be scaled, so a good sharp blade is all that's needed.

Great little knife. Can cut, scale a fish and pop a cap. What else would you need in a one blade knife?
