4 blade Stockman approx 1930-50

Stamp is very worn but AI thought it was 612E I’m not sure I agree.

I know Boker used a couple different sizes of round shields. What diameter is the hole in your handle?

Looks like 9/32 to me but not sure if it was a lip or resides within the hole. Pic because I’m a noob!

I will see if I can find one that size. The bad thing about those round Boker shields is that they tend to fall out. Aside from that they're pretty good. I must have half a dozen old Brokers without a shield, but I think I remember one that did have one. Give me some time to look for it.

9/32 inches equals .281 in.
The shield I have is a new 8mm shield I got from Boker several years ago. 8 mm equals .314 in.
It is only .033 in. difference. I know it is difficult for me to measure the diameter of a circle with a machinist scale as the placement through the center is critical in getting an accurate measurement.
