KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY

Wife's cousin found out that I'm a knife nut and brought a couple of knives to show me at the meal we had after a celebration of another cousin life. They belong to his dad l looked at them told him they were some good old knives he said take your pick, so I took this old Chapman hand forge with what I figure are celluloid handles, uncle Harry like this knife a lot evidently and toted it for a good many years, looks like he even made his favorite blade which I expect was a flesh blade to be a easy opener by filing a spot on the handle. I'm proud to be the caretaker of it. Uncle Harry was a good feller who left this life way to early.
I know nothing of the brand so if any of you guys can enlighten me have at it, appreciate all comments.

Not me. I've had some like it but not stamped, Meritt. One was maybe 15" long. Isn't that a German product? I bought some knives from an old guy in Easton, MD who had a huge set of those from like an inch to 20+ inches long. O'.

I'm not sure about this one being made in Germany, I have seen other tools marked with "Merit Tools" and "Made in USA"

I hit a flea market with our son today. He struck out looking for classic rock records, but I hit a few knives.

This Vic was nicely priced at $20. I don't actively collect SAK, but the price was too good to pass on.

This other one is weird. It's a Russell, but the blade doesn't have a nail nick. It could have been ground off or reprofiled, but doesn't look to have been added.

Here’s a 4 line Camillus and a Buck 301 . The pair of Scissors was found in an old Kennedy Machinist box that am restoring. The Scissors are Parker and Field and has Prussia stamped on one side .
