Joe, thanks for posting that pic. I admit that I knew nothing of Lew Sarett, though I see that a great deal of his life and career was spent in Illinois. Growing up where I did, English literature classes seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on the other "locals", Sandburg, Upton Sinclair, Edgar Lee Masters, etc. but I don't recall hearing of Lew Sarett. Maybe I was daydreaming through class on that particular day.
