New brand for me also. Seen a few but never owned one till now. Well built it seems but of course most Solingen pieces are I think.

Brought this one home from Marinette yesterday. I balked and walked at the price at first..... then sheepishly ran back with tail between legs and hand outstretched

Didn't want to pay $50 dollars. Didn't want someone else to get it

It's the first Aerial I've found in the wild, in its hometown nonetheless. Had to have. The cell is somewhat discolored but is actually still quite nice. Half stops and crispy snap on both blades, with a main blade shape thats somewhere between a clip and a spear, it's unexpectedly pleasant to carry and use. It's subtle and hard to see in the picture, but the point is "pointier" than most spear or pen blades I've used. I feel a little less bad about the price.

The same booth also had an Aerial straight razor with french Ivory celluloid and a gold leaf etch of a suspension bridge on the blade. I would imagine it's the bridge from Duluth for which the company was named after. I'm not a straight razor collector. I have a few, I'll pick them up if they're an interesting brand and cheap. This was the former but not the latter. $60 for that was too much in the moment, might not be if it's still there next time I go back. Have been looking in the same antique store there for maybe 5 years with no luck finding Aerial/Jaeger Bros until these.

You didn't quote me so I had no idea this post existed.
That gorgeous hawkbill has a Diamond shape box with what looks like and SE1 inside of it. On the back of the Tang it clearly reads:
Solingen Germany.

The boys hunter.....the Outers Knife? Camillus 4 line stamp, Sword Brand on opposite Tang jigged bone handles.
