Yeah, I've got a Milwaukee and it is heavy too.woodwalker wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2026 7:56 pmGot my grass mowed 2 days ago. My lovely wife got me a pole saw (Dewalt) for my trees that like to drop limbs in these storms (River Birchs). Either I've become a weakling thru the years or that 15 foot pole saw is awfully heavy!!I think it's just heavy....
yeah, that's it!!

Picked up a nice old Imperial Scout today. Circa 1946-1956. Great snap, full blade, Iman approved patina, even has a slight etch still on the blade.
Excellent old knife. All for a 10 spot..

The really strange thing though, each year that goes by it seems to get a little heavier.

Seems obscenely light at just 1.8 ounces for a 4.5" closed knife. Thus, looks like something I'll probably be getting here pretty soon; as $45 really isn't that bad.
If Nitrox/MA5 is good enough for the French Army's issued knives, then it's good enough for me!

That BladeForums Buck 301 is a real gem. Being able to participate in the knife’s design was quite a unique privilege and tons of fun.
Stephen from SK Blades was phenomenal in helping us get what we wanted from Buck and they turned out great! Nice knife David!
