The P-38 in your 2nd and 4th pictures appears to have bakalite grips, finish rubbed off the top of the right side of its trigger from rotating and rust on its left side which is more likely on an older all steel gun. The flat black grips on the other P-38 look like a newer synthetic and its front sight is too short.
