I have not been searching for ANY form of wire-handle cutlery or utensils for a while now. However, I could not resist purchasing a wire-handle trio that I found. Three different wire-handle items, with three different stamps. I am posting two of the three items here, and I am posting the third item (a large hawkbill pocket knife) in the “wirejack” sub-forum.

Here are the two wire-handle items.

1. Pictures #1 to #5.
A wire-handle fork, out of either a Girl Scout, or a Boy Scout utensil kit. It does not have the colored spacer/blade guard, so it could be either. The fork measures 3 1/4” closed, and 5 3/4” open. The fork stamp says, “GEO. SCHRADE (curved) (over) PAT. (over) 1-27-42 (over) B’PORT, CONN.” This fork opens and closes without any problems. Overall, this fork is in GOOD condition. This fork did NOT need any cleaning at all.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

2. Pictures #6 to #10.
A wire-handle pocket knife, with a cap lifter or bottle opener. It is one third of a Girl Scout utensil kit. It does have the dark green colored spacer/blade guard. It measures 3 1/4” closed, and 5 3/4” open. The blade/tool front stamp says, “STAINLESS (over) STEEL (over) GEO SCHRADE (over) KNIFE CO. (over) PAT. 1-27-42 (over) B’PORT, CT.” The main blade does NOT have a blade pull. The main blade does have a GOOD half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
