Real deal ??

Winchester entered the knife market as a manufacturer in 1919 by acquiring two existing knife companies; Eagle Knife Co. of Connecticut & Napanoch Knife Co. of New York. Winchester stepped away from the market in 1942 to focus on war related manufactured products, but re-entered in the late 1980s by licensing its name to Blue Grass Cutlery. Blue Grass had high quality knives made by Queen Cutlery that featured the Winchester brand name for a handful of years until the license arrangement ran its course. Winchester eventually started licensing to other companies & now you will find the brand name used by several knife manufacturers by way of license agreements.

I have winchester coffin bolster jack #2513. Saw on youtube about a winchester coffin bolster jack #2921, it also has winchester ink on main blade, and
"87 under 2921 model number. I think made by bluegrass.
Mine just has regular tang stamp and 2513 on pile side of tang. I'm thinking i might have an original from back in the day??

If you would, please post pictures of your knife.
Several clear, in-focus pictures from straight-on (not from add angles) of the knife from every side can really help identify the knife.

The pattern number 2513 seems a bit strange for a Winchester knife but as Reverend said, without pictures you won't get a god answer.

I have a 1930 Simmons catalog reprint, which also includes a Winchester catalog reprint. There is no 2513 listed. There is a 2921 listed, and it is a coffin jack.

My Winchester catalog reprint is 58 pages - 6 to 8 knives per page - plus a list of their patterns. There is no 2513 shown. In fact there are no 25xx patterns listed or shown.

My Winchester collectors book also shows the 2921 swell center 3 and 1/2 inch jack as does the Voyles book. They both show the pivot end bolster as having a rope border. No number 2513 is shown in either. Definitely need to see some pictures.
