Knife Magazine Subscription

Post by Railsplitter »

I paid for a subscription to Knife Magazine on June 22nd but I haven’t received anything from them yet except an email confirmation of my subscription on the same day.

This is a new subscription, not a renewal.

I’m thinking I should call them but I don’t want to bother them if this is normal. There was nothing in my confirmation email to imply when my first issue would be mailed.

Do any of you folks know if it normally takes 4 weeks or longer to receive the first issue?

I’d call them. I called them a couple years ago about a password problem. Nice folks and I’m sure they’ll be helpful and happy to hear from you. It wouldn't surprise me though if it takes a little longer.

Dale, I can never remember either. So I just ask them to set my subscription to auto-renew. ::facepalm::

Their phone lines open in about 20 minutes. I’ll give them an hour to get settled in and then I will call.

I will report back here with my results.

I called and was told that my first issue is on the way and I should receive it this week. I payed for my subscription right after the current issue went to print so I had to wait until the next issue went to print. That’s pretty much what I figured but now I know for sure.

Assuming that I do in fact receive my first issue soon, this problem is resolved.

You ordered 5 days before I did. The representative didn’t say when the cutoff date was but your situation might be the same as mine. It might be in the mail right now.
