Instructions for entering the giveaway...This month we feature a giveaway from a first time donor (tvic) who has agreed to part ways with his Schrade/I*XL knife that was made at the Richards of Sheffield factory. In 1977, Schrade bought Richards holdings in Sheffield which included Rogers Wostenholm on Guernsey Road making two famous brands, the Joseph Rogers and the I*XL brands. The Schrade/I*XL knives were made at the Richards of Sheffield factory on Moore Street in 1980/81. This lock back knife has the SW (for Schrade Wostenholm) on the bolster and the “0” (zero) indicating that it was made in 1980. The knife has bone handles, nickel silver bolsters, brass liners and stainless steel blades. The main blade is etched with the “Schrade I*XL Wostenholm Sheffield England” logo. The bolster is numbered 06810. It measures 5 1/4” open and 3 1/4” closed. Comes in “velvet” lined display box with all original paperwork.
