Got this knife off eBay for $12. When looking up the 2159 the only manufacturer I could find with this number stamped on the front side was Cattaraugus. I feel pretty certain that the blade is a real Catt 2159 blade, but the only 2159 Catts I saw were a barlow pattern. I am by far NO expert on being able to see if a knife has been messed with, but I don’t see anything obvious saying that this knife has had the blade changed. So my questions are: is this a real Cattaraugus knife or did I buy a franken-knife put together with pieces? I appreciate any & all help. Also the scales appear to be bone.
Thank you as always,
John

A Catt 2159 is a Barlow. Not sure about that one? Could be cobbled?
Good luck with it. J.O'.
