Grayman Dua

Post by larry1278 »

I was able to get my hands on a Greyman Dua today, appears to never have been used, ti/ti cpm20cv. I believe it is a mid-generation and I've read that even though Grayman never published production numbers many knife collector communities believe there may only be 100-150 out there. I've look over the internet, and these things are sold out everywhere at like $600 a piece. I'm just looking for thoughts, comments, insight. I didn't even know about the brand until a few days ago when I first seen the knife. I went back today and purchased it for $250.

These sold for around $250 when they were available new about a decade or more ago so whoever purchased yours when it was new fared well. I too have seen these sell recently for cost X2 so there’s definitely a following. I like the fact that these knives use a Chris Reeve-style pivot bushing with phosphor bronze washers rather than ball bearings. Great pickup ::tu::

I agree that pictures will bring more comments. These images are snipped from: https://bladebinge.com/listings/GRAYMAN ... 9b3d30b3d4

They made some excellent fixed blades, a buddy had one and I was always impressed by it. I was all set to one of their knives and I emailed the makers years ago with some questions, and they never responded to me, so I never ended up buying one of their blades .... 😪😥😪

They say, “Hard work never hurt anyone”, but I'm still not willing to risk it.

Fine looking knife was a little out of my comfort zone when new and now way out of my league. ::handshake::
