Many thanks for the kind words, Tim & Mel
I let my hunting dog Zeus pick the knives out for today.....
Many thanks for the kind words, Tim & Mel

Surprised he didn't pick something with bone

The 110 is one of the finest knives ever made. Top ten of the knife world, in my book...GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2026 1:55 am‘A’ ole pilikia, and glad to be of help, Q,QTCut5 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2026 3:22 pmMahalo, T-DOGEven on it's best behavior (aka the mythical "paradise"), Hawaii's salty, humid climate has always been problematic for knife maintenance and preservation. I appreciate the product recommendation, it looks like just what I need for my kitchen knife!

... I think if you just paint a few coats on your kitchen knife, it will be good as new ...
... Also, I am glad to see you have "weathered the storm" and are back in action taking high-quality pictures of great knives to add to this thread*

That is an exceptionally fine photo. Fine knife, too.
Nice pic

You’d cringe if you knew what this knife has been through over the years.Knives-of-france wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2026 5:19 pmNice pic
The Douk Douk is really a great “patina” knife

Nice. I like the figural solid brass or bronze handled knives.
I only have a few knives with engraved bolsters and they tend to be a bit of a challenge to photograph. I am still learning with this camera.

I have a new phone, a Galaxy flip 7, and today I was experimenting with the camera.

Awesome pics and great location. What is the fixed blade please?

Thank you C-Man

Good pics, looks a little barren in that grove of trees.
