Re: My BIGHEAD Mods
Wow, what a transformation! You know I like my stag, and that amber really makes those mods pop.
Great work BH!

Re: My BIGHEAD Mods
Barry consistently hits game winning grand slams with his amazing mods and he's hit yet another one, as well as delivering a one-two knock-out punch, with these two, my latest exclusive treasures from the BIGHEAD Mod of the Month Club. When I sent the knives and ivory slabs to Barry, I was concerned about the GEC mod because as can be clearly seen in the 'before' photo, the ivory slabs were already just barely long enough which meant there was no room for error. But, this turned out to be no problem for mod master BIGHEAD, and the results speak for themselves in the perfect, precise fit and finish.

Re: My BIGHEAD Mods
Forgive me, gentlemen, for I have sinned
It's been 10 months since my last BIGHEAD mod
And I must confess, despite my extended abstinence, I am still hopelessly and irredeemably addicted to Stag
Normally, I prefer my Stag to be of the Natural, Burnt or Amber variety; however, this time I decided to throw caution to the wind and try something a little different: BLUE STAG
The knife I chose for this mod is a Schatt & Morgan Heritage Series Single Blade Jack with Ebony Wood handle, one of my (non-Wharncliffe) favorite knives. I realize that some of you will consider me a heretic for admitting this, but I've never been a big fan of Ebony handle scales, most of it is too dark, too dull and lacking in character
But, as Ebony goes, I really didn't mind the handle on this knife, in fact, I kind of liked it. So, deciding to change it was a bit of a gamble because I didn't know if I would like it in Blue Stag.
Schatt & Morgan provided the knife, Culpepper's provided the raw slabs of blue dyed stag and BIGHEAD Barry performed the highly skilled professional operation of modification and transformation.....and now I have the distinct honor of providing an eternal home for this fabulous cutlery artwork pièce de résistance!
BEFORE:
VIOLÀ! I gotta admit, the Blue Stag really pops.....more so than Ebony
