Signing off for a couple of days, heading across the pond

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Signing off for a couple of days, heading across the pond

Post by sunburst »

Howdy,

Just in case someone wonders why ole sunburst is not answering his emails I will be away from a keyboard for about 10 days. My great boss has seen to it that my wife, son and myself take a little tour of Italy again. We are going to check out Rome, Florence, Venice, Isle of Capri and Pompeii.

While there I will be looking for any Italian folders stashed away in some little cobblestone street with an old building. I don't know how I will get it back but we will see... :)

Ya'll take care and hold down the fort...

Y'all have a good one over there Sunburst. Just stick those special knives in a box and mail them back to yourself. Maybe a little duty/tax, but if it is something you want I do not think it would be a problem.
Take Care,
Rick

BTW:If you happen to run across a Corsican or French Vendetta Knife, keep me in mind. :)

Ahhh there's no place like home...Let me say that 100 more times and it still would not be enough... :D

Well I checked the shops in Italy for any knives of interest but all I could stumble across were blades made in China.. ::td::

Here are a couple of pics from our journey, I sure am glad to be back on aapk, it looks like I missed some great topics...

These particular pics are from Venice

Hi Sunburst. Great to see you back on board ::tu:: . You didn't come across a little back street cutlery shop selling rare Schatts at ridiculously discounted prices ::doh:: ? Oh well. Yes there is no place like home. I hope you had an interesting trip. :) s-k
