Hi, it's great to be here.

Post by Canuk sheathmaker »

Hello everyone, I'm Robin. Been here for 19 posts and I have to say, this is the friendliest knife forum on the net. I make a few "indian trade type knives" and some hunters and skinners for some of the local guys up here in the boonies of Canada. I'm mainly a leather smith so I do lots of sheaths. I collect interesting old slippies and some older hunters, all used, I love the feel of history in a well taken care of old knife. I also bang out a few tomahawks. Thanks for the friendly welcome.

Very best regards

Robin

Hello Gary
I LOVE your knives, The Scagel style may well be my favourite, you can just feel how the handles you do will sit in ones hand. If I wasn't so darned old I'd be camped out at your place picking your brain.

Very best regards and thanks for your warm welcome.

Chris, Mitch and Hukk, thanks so much for this very warm welcome.

Hukk, I love hawks, love throwing them love the early inlaid variety. I'm working on getting a forge up and running asap to try some silver and copper inlaid hawks.

Best regards
