Buck 110 Ultralight

Post by muskrat man »

Been wanting to do this for a long time, just now got a round to it. Red and black linen micarta scales with some filework. My goal was to create the thinnest lightest buck 110 I could. I think I succeeded while keeping it functional. Your average every day Buck 110 weighs in at 7.6 oz, this little jewel weighs in at a whopping 2.6 oz. Linerless, and bolsterless to make it as light as possible. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

That is a big improvement on that knife! It's amazing how much weight brass bolsters add to a knife. Great job!

Really like the micarta on that knife. Makes it look much more user friendly than the original materials.

......................but pretty is as pretty does.

I would need you to send it to me for a proper field evaluation before I could render a more informed opinion.

Cool concept. I like it.

As a lover and creator of Ultralight refits, that sir, is darn spiffy! It's easy to forget that Micarta and G10 and like are more than capable of replacing most of what makes a pocketknife without the loss of any structural strength.
