I'll ask the same question as the last post. What says to you it's a fake? The fact that the "tested" knives are 60+ years old and this one just came out of the box? The fact that the better looking tang stamps are on the wrong side of the blades, and the one on the "right" side is crooked? The fact that the handle material is just plain screwy lookin? I don't know who those bidders are, but I'd like some of what they're smokin.

Even to a non-Case guy like me that looks as phony as a three dollar bill. ::dang::

What I don't understand is why in the world would someone pay $3 for such a ugly knife let alone $300???! ::barf::

That knife is uglier than the North end of a South-bound mule!

That knife is so ugly it would curdle fresh milk at 50 paces!

Who ever put that together must have been kicked out of China for making ugly knives!!!

Seriously, I don't think I have ever seen an uglier knife, nor a more putrid color.
There should be a law; if someone is going to counterfeit a knife, it at least has to be pretty!

Dale

PS- Is there any doubt that I think this knife is ugly?
