Mammoth Fixed Blade

Post by razor1 »

I picked this one up in a trade last week and I don't know jack about it ::shrug:: Scales are Mammoth Ivory, and the full tang blade appears to be some type of highly polished stainless ::nod:: The only markings on the knife is a tang stamp of what appears to be some sort of critter ::nod:: Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated ::tu:: Razor 8)

I thought it might be a Jody Samson knife.
I know his logo was a lion head, but I found one of his knives on ebay:

It doesn’t look like Jody’s logo. Mostly Jody was known for his swords, like the one he made the movie Conan.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help,
Dale

PS- After looking at a few of Jody's knives & swords on line, your knife is a bit too traditional for one of Jody's designs.
