A Couple More Lile's

Post by WelderBob »

Well we all have our weakness when it come's to collecting and mine happen's to be
Jimmy Lile, so when these were offered to me I just had to take them home... ::nod::
Both knives are his #7 hunter's, the top one made in 1975 has fiberglass handle's and
the stag was made in 1970. Both blades are engraved "Hand Made By Janes B Lile", done
by Marilyn Lile.

I love the nice clean lines of those knives.
High speed - low drag! ::tu:: ::tu::

Hey Bob! Very nice...................

I just picked up a Lile script signed knife also. A regular #7 just like yours at a local pawn shop, I was shocked to see it in there.

Did you by chance see the Lile Axe that just sold on ebay? It's the first one I have ever seen.

Dale, I like that, "High speed-low drag", bet Jimmy would of got a chuckle out of that...

Gary, To find a Lile in a pawn shop...you must be living right... ::nod::
I didn't see the axe on ebay...I bet it went high. From what I've been
told he only made 40 to 50 of them.
I'm going to be in Willows around March...you wouldn't care to share the
name of your pawn shop would you...

Gotta big job in Willows do ya? That's right down the street about an hour. The Lile Axe $2600.00.

Olde West Gun and Pawn Shop on Market Street if you get up this way.

Take care...................
