Post by AAPK Email »

I have been given a Camillus, New York Knife it appears to be an antique the handle is a light yellow and has brown circles running through it. It ahs three blade and the back side of the blade reading Camillus NY has a numeric number that looks as if it is 85, anyone who can provide further info on this knife.

Please note: Asked for pictures. Will post if it received.

Camillus made a #85 stockman pattern in the 1950s.
The closed length of the knife was 3-3/16". They listed the handles as "Agate Pyroxylin" which was basically a butter & molasses type celluloid.
