Not a mini trapper, but a jack knife. Metal handles - looks like what some might call a "boys knife".
I'm DEFINITELY no expert, but it looks legit to me.

A rework.
Case never used that type of handle but other companies did. Someone took a worn Tested blade and put it in that frame.

Steve, does that look like an old Remington frame to you, or was this a rather common texture?

Remington used that handle type...and a few other firms did...Keen Kutter comes to mind. I can't honestly say who made that one.rangerbluedog wrote:Steve, does that look like an old Remington frame to you, or was this a rather common texture?

Her's what the seller said when I emailed him and asked a few questions :
"
may be so i am not sure
but i have seen case tested knives that are not listed in any books
that why the listing had question marks in this listing i will have to let the purchaser deside and take that risk
thanks "

If an eBay seller is selling a clock radio for $5 and says you are taking a "chance" whether it works or not, I CAN see that, but there are WAY TOO many eBayers selling knives which are OBVIOUS fakes or "reproductions" and acting like the buyer is taking a chance. that is just WRONG... there is no "chance".. the buyer LOSES !!!
