1991 61098 SAB

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

1991 61098 SAB

Post by afracline6 »

Hi,

I just received as a gift a Case Classic Toothpick Redbone 1991 61098 SAB with a letter from Parker Knife Service saying that it was 1 of 12 made and the letter also describes the knife. I don’t know a lot about these knives and wanted to know if this is a unique knife or just one of many. Sorry in advance for my lack of knowledge I just joined the forum today and this is my first Case Classic.

Hey there afrac! Welcome..................

It's a 1 of 12 so it's quite unique. Please, if you have the ability post a picture or two for us.

The "Case Classics" are very well made knives, do a search of the site there's lots of information on them.

I deleted your duplicated post.

::welcome:: to AAPK,

According to my books if it is a Red Pick Bone then it is One of twelve.

Breakdown for red bone 61098 as follows ;

Red Corn Cob Bone .......... 110 made
Red Banana Bone ............... 175 made
Red Bone ........................... 825 made
& Red Pick Bone ................ 12 made

Since I'm not familiar with Red Pick Bone ... please, as Gary stated , post a picture .... I'd like to learn from this.

Thanks,

Dean
