It was probably some type of a contract knife. Buck Creek made lots of knives for different organisations in the 80's and 90's.

I have one made for a coal hauling company. The company is still in business and I talked to the owner who remembered buying them for his employees back in the early 90's.

As for the KKK connection? I'd be wary of anything marked with that. Several years ago I ended up with a brass belt buckle that was very nicely detailed with the KKK stuff. After a LOT of research, it was determined to have been a phony that was made up to sell. I sold it to a guy that would NOT believe it wasn't the real deal and he promptly quadrupled the price and was still trying to pass it off as real KKK stuff. I'm sure he found a sucker for it eventually.

Not saying yours is not what it is, just relating a past experience.

Can you post some detailed pics of it?

New York Knife Co made a waterfall handled pen knife for kkk. It had an image of man in th gown on front handle. I only seen one and believe they go for about $100. Interesting little knife.
Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand.

I cannot speak to Buck Creek, but I can tell you for sure that Jim Parker had that knife and a black handled Barlow with the same shield on his tables by the boxes back in the early 1990's. And, I do not mean boxes that held a half dozen knives. I mean boxes that held twenty of more knives each. I do not know how the tangs were marked on those knives, but they were German made.

Given Parker's connection with certain German manufacturers, I'd be very skeptical of that "only 188 made" claim.

As to the KKK collectibilty factor: to each his own.

The #'s 92 and 93 mean that the knives were issued in 1992 & 1993 . I sold my last one for $100 to another dealer who promptly sold it for $150 .

The knives were most likely imported by James Parker (now deceased) of Chattanooga, TN. I would not be surprised to learn that his son, Buzz, still has some.

I have had 2 different Invisible empire knives. One was a 3 blade stockman with white scales and an etched master blade with gold wash depictingsomeone named Wilkinson who at the time was the Grand Dragon(or whatever they call it).It was made by Hen&Rooster if I recall and had some rusting on the blades.I gave it to my brother who appreciated more than I did.
Recently someone gave me a 3 blade stockman with black scales that was made by Case and supposedly sold through SMKW.The story I got was they purchased the knives from Case and then re-scaled them. From what I gather Case wasn't too thrilled with that.I was going to post a picture of it but it spirited away somewhere that is eluding me at the moment.

I made a trade one several knives as a lot once and ended up with a Fightin Rooster 3 blade stockman with pearl handles that had it's blades etched with that KKK Grand Wizard bull hockey stuff. After researching the knife some I found that the knife wasn't made in Germany like all the other Fightin Rooster knives, it was made in Japan but not marked as such. It had nice pearl handles but the blade snap and the fit & finish of the knife was not very good by any standards, much less Fightin Rooster brand. I have a African -American friend that's a police officer and a volunteer fireman that I gave it to. He got a laugh out of it and said he was going to carry it and show it to any skin heads that he may arrest and say that he's secretly in the Klan but working undercover as a cop. I said if they don't believe you show them your Wallace for President campaign card that you carry in your wallet. I guess Forrest Gump's Momma was right, stupid is as stupid does.
