Re: old timer
Great knives!! Here are the first two, originally out in bone handles. The jack is a 2OT, and of course the stockman is an 8OT, late 1950's intro on both of them:

Those 2OT's are really, really, really nice. I like 'em.

I don't really "collect" them per se but I've probably got more around than I will admit to.
Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

Re: old timer
Just picked up a "real" Old Timer yesterday. An older 8OT, with the model # stamped on the pile side and with the matchstrike nail nick. I believe I own a half dozen or so Old Timers now. They're a good, well built knife that's withstood the test of time.
Bull ( this is my second 8ot,but I just can't pass on a good buy for a good knife. It's an addiction!! )

Neat. I haven't seen that 75th anniversary before, or a 7OT in gift box.

This one came last week:

This 14OT came in a fancier box than most Old Timers:

This gift set is rather common:

Re: old timer
This is one of my favorite Old Timers; the 902OT.
It is the only non-knife Old Timer I am aware of.
Does anyone else have one?
