Bob White Stamped Knife

Post by jkey63876 »

Hello AAPK members! I am new here and hope to be here for a long time. I found this site quite by accident while looking for information about a knife I found. I bought a hydration pack to take hunting with me at a yard sale. While going through the many pockets, I found a wooden handled knife that appears to be a stockman style, with a quail or Bob White stamp on the larger & smaller blade. After some research, I found this website, with a couple of mentions of this brand. As well as Queen knife company, who apparently made the Bob Whites for Bob Dotson... If memory serves me correctly. But that's about ALL the info I have found. If anybody has anything else to offer, I am more than willing to listen! Thank you in advance for your patience & assistance!

Oh, almost forgot to mention that I tried to return the knife to the seller. He told me I could have the knife for being so honest. From what I have read about these knives, he may have believed it to be another generic made knife. Much to my benefit! ::nod::

Attached a couple of pics from my phone. Hope they are small enough & clear enough!

::welcome:: to AAPK.

First let me praise your integrity for going back to the seller and telling him about the knife. Far too few people have the morals to do that today.

Second, I can't tell you anything about your knife except to say if it is a Queen made knife it is a well made knife.

Once again welcome.

I've been looking around the site here, and found an older post about a bob white knife. It had the yellow handle instead of wood, but the stamp was identical. That's the first one that I've seen besides mine. And not knowing anything about a knife sure makes it hard to identify the maker! :? But thanks for checking out my post anyway! I appreciate it.
