Camillus info.

I just bought this Camillus knife.
It has one blade, one screwdriver/cap lifter, one can opener and one leather punch.
The tang stamp is four lines, CAMILLUS – CUTLERY CO.- CAMILLUS NY – USA.
Any information, like age and value, will be appreciated.

Yes this is a WWII Engineers Knife. Check the liners, if they are brass then it is early WWII as later they changed to steel due to brass being used for military uses.

Any estimates on value?

Based on the ones I've purchased (only 6 or 7 . . . ) or watched (maybe a few more than that . . . )in the past year, I'd guess that given condition and assuming the springs and other blades are good, maybe $35-50. Price fluctuates a bit, and there are always those lucky buys ($7 with free shipping!) and the auctions where someone goes nuts.

Thats a nice one Skoal. .....seems all your questions have been answered..tang stamp indicates 1941-46....really nice scales.
