70"s Case XX USA Copperhead Tang Stamp?

Here is one that is different. A 70's era knife with no dots following the abreviations. Case XX U S A, I notice that in the 80's it seems it was dropped but I can't seem to find this in a 70's knife????

I believe that is a 79 1 dot and that dot would be underneath the USA

Hey bone, I don't have a 79 knife, but none of my 76's 77's , or 78's have a period after U S or A. Like I say, I don't have a 79. Kelley

Can't seem to find a a reference with no DOTS for a 70's Case XX, only Case XX Stainless

I just happened to have a 1979 Case here at my desk and there are no dots after the U, S, or A. Only the one dot under USA, just like the one in that auction.
