Cattaraugus Gater Wrench knife price
Does anyone know of a book that gives a price on the Cattaraugus Gater wrench knife. I find plenty of price quotes for the 1W and 3w wrench knives but I don't have a book that shows anything for the Gater Wrench knives. I know they want an arm and a leg for them at shows but was just curious as to what a book price for one in near mint condition would be. Cattaraugus also made a version of the crescent wrench knife that was used by linotype operators, but I can find nothing on it either.

Not interested in selling them just curious as to why they don't show up in any of the knife books I have.

This site has some good info about Catt wrench knives:
http://cutlerynewsjournal.com/2009/04/1 ... ol-knives/
It says your knives are "extremely rare," which may be why they aren't in many books. It also shows a 3-W Catt wrench knife, which is a later version and presumably not as rare as yours, that sold on ebay for $482.
