Do You Like (mostly) Viet Nam Era Rock & Roll and Country?
There's quite a variety of mostly Viet Nam era Rock & Roll and Country music here. If you listened to music from about 1955 until sometime around 1980, you will recognize almost all these (there's a bunch).
Enjoy.

Hey, thanks Jerry. Pretty cool site. Sure brings back memories. Yeh, Vietnam was my war. Never crossed the Pond, spent 18 long, hard months at Ft. Hood, TX in '66-'67 Should have gotten overseas pay for it though.

I still listen to it.
Lately I've been listening to this when I'm messing around on the computer/

It's got streaming traditional Irish music. None of the POGUES though.

Bookmarked that Wullie. Thanks. I like most music. I can get tired of Jazz pretty quickly and ya can't spell crap without rap but other than that I have few prejudices in the area of music.

IMHO late sixties and early seventies was the watershed best of quality R&R. Beatles, Zepp, Hendrix, Janice, Stones, Floyd, Peter Green Fleetwood Mac, Doors, the Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills, Nash, Steppenwolf, Moody Blues, Purple, Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Almonds, Skynyrd, Queen, Elton, Dylan, Howling Wolf, Muddy W, James Brown, Parliament, Clapton, Humble Pie, Buffalo Springfield, Hollies, I could go on, left lots out.

Re: Do You Like (mostly) Viet Nam Era Rock & Roll and Country?
Viet Nam started around my Junior year in high school. so I listened on the car radio to lot's of that. oh yea, park and spark. Run the car battery down once and needed a push. The mid 50's tube type radios that had some kind of vibrator thing in it. Some of the early country western songs. Saturday night on Am. radio the Grand Old Opery. And 33 rpm and 45 rpm records, and yes 8 tract tapes. Their is renewed interest in records.

There was a pretty wide variety of rock that I liked, but during my tour I was "taken over" by MOTOWN.
