Pressbutton Reproduction Our Latest from T bar K

Post by tbark44 »

Well here is my latest in Knife fasion It sports a Mastadon ivory handle set of bark wiht some neat colors , imo its a great peace . It is a full sized model of the pressbutton knife made with 440-V but this stuff was only .110 thou thick when i got it , razor edge blade measures about 4 in an its 8 3/4 in oal blade locks up great with almost no play it is almost impossible to make them lock solid as i like but it sits deep an fires good an strong , button is a bit tough to press but it has no problems opening right up an locking as it should the back scale has some excessive lines that were filled in an looks cracked across the back handle but i assure you its only surface an non structural cracks the handles are very solid , I guarentee all my work an materials I use on my knives with free replacement baring no abuse clause .I realy loved the color on thes handles ,I bought some amber stag for it originaly but it was about 3/16 too short so I went with the Ivory an filled it Hope you enjoy , God Bless .

TBK;
For what it's worth, as I know next to nothing about custom knives, that is one beautiful and impressive knife.
Everytime you post one of your works, I'm more and more impressed.

What he said. Looks like a practical, usable knife, too.

It's been at least 20 years since we were burnin' coal and hammerin' hot steel in the wilds of Jack and Wise counties I figger. You've gone down a rough road and made and made a HELL of a hand. I'm proud of you and never cease to be amazed at your craftsmanship.

I'm honored to be your friend as well.

I sent a couple of links to Tom and all he can says WOW!! He's supposed to come down this Thanksgiving with his new bride for a visit.

Keep the cool stuff coming!! ::tu::
