Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Ok I got the other Imperial in yesterday and finally made it a computer that I could load pics to so here we go...you decide. I myself am more than happy with both as they are both tight, blades snap really good and the bone appears to be in excellent condition. Thanks to those that have provided info on these old workhorses....
Notice one has dark blades, that is after a couple of gun blue paste treatments, the pics do do it justice , but in the light it has a pretty rainbow trout appearance to the metal...something a little different, but it's an edc and that's easily removable if desired.

Those are great knives greg. I have and old Imperial cattle knife about that age (I guess).
I'll try to get pictures up to show it off.

Well, I got to take pictures of that Imperial. I sure like this knife. I don't want for much more while packing this.
It's sturdy and sharp.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
nice finds everyone, i just love them older knives myself, i found a camilius stockman with a bullet ccc and 22 hornet in the handle and camilius etched on the main blade with the sawtooth/serrated sheepfoot blade in near mint ,it has one scratch on the main blade but it is slight though, with c2 on the main blade and delrin handles. here are few pics.

Just to let everyone know, I didn't know how to date this Imperial Cell I just won until Phil showed me the Tang post on Imperials, Thanks Phil for helpin a brother out that just didn't know we had that info here.
Greg, I used to have that laugh too but then the wife put me on the slow drip, now I just cry a lot and remember how it used to be.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I finally got a chance to load some pics of this past weekends finds. These photos are poor quality because it's like 15 degrees outside and I didn't want to go out this morning....but you get the idea.
1st is a 1985 edition Remington Bullet big muskrat new in box. I gave this to my dad for his 70th birthday friday. made this pic friday and forgot to get one with blades open..sorry
2nd is a Henckels Congress with HellBraun bone scales
3rd is a 1976 Queen #22 Barlow...etching on blade is good, just doesn't show up so well in pic.

again I apologize for the poor pic quality, I'll try to do better next time.
