its a really nice knife i didnt see the stainless liners on it untill just now, its not much different from my john primble, except the primble has brass liners and the canopener is slightly shorter.

hey jerry i never got the honor to serve our country and i have the deepest respect for our former and current vets, i love the usmc knife and it is probably one of the nicer made knives i have. im surprised at how many people who dont know what semper fidelus means i do, i get to experience it everyday.....freedom.

Joe Dirt, Thanks for the info .Cool stuff , yea, this knife is near mint even though it dont look like it from the pic. i dont know anything about these except it seemed well made .it s got a bad a** saw blade on it. So I popped on it for a dollar. yelp, yelp. ::tu::

Hey Gino,
Can you give us a close-up of the tang stamp on the Hammer Brand?
That pattern is old enough that it could be made by New York Knife Company.
Although, most of them that I have seen have been made by Imperial.
Either way, it's a nice knife and should have excellent steel in it.

hey gang found a few nice knives today, first is a schrade/walden trapper in very nice condition, and i found i believe a cub scout (maybe) camillus knife match striker long pull in excellent condition. here are a few pics.
