How about a Queen?

Post by Tom Hudson »

i had this blade & spring for years - figered it was about time to do something with it. So i cut out some liners - soldered on some NC bolster material & did my normal thing - enjoy - Tom
BTW - the blade says it was a 9165 pattern which i think was a 2 blade.

Imitation Tortoise shell -purdy stuff - i haven't ground any of this stuff in a long time - now i recall why -

Isn't anybody else out there customizing any knives?

Factory knives are going up & up. so is the bone & stag. I raised my prices - now 150 bucks for a Trapper size customized knife - 10 years ago i charged 125.00 so a 25 dollar raise in 10 years? Last gun show i had a $1.00 bill in my display case with a price tag of 90 cents on it - NO ONE BOUGHT IT!

i'm starting to feel like a post whore - i'm thinking i'll stop posting for a while - maybe i'll start my own blog on my web page - maybe it's just the time of the year - maybe everybody's broke - business is slow but it always is in January -

OK - i'll shut up now - tom
