The Rust Eraser
Hey guys, orvet sells this item in his store and I bought a couple last week and just got to use it yesterday. This rust eraser really works for removing rust off of blades and tangs, so you can read it again. I went to work on the backsprings of my POS knife Dave sent me as a test and I am surprised how well it worked! Takes a little elbow grease and some time but the end result is pretty great I thought. It is critical to clean out all the eraser bits in your knife with Gun Scrubber then Compressed air before re oiling. Here's a pic, when I get my Micron paper in, I'm gonna see what kinda damage I can cause with that.
This knife is my new case study for cleaning, not gonna go overboard but just wanna see if this stuff really works.

Re: The Rust Eraser
I just used one of those on a scout knife I recently got from an ebay purchase. It had some rusting on most every blade and I couldn't leave it the way it came. I have given it a good scrubbin and it looks much better than it did before. It's not a high dollar knife or anything like that, but it did need that rust removed. I'm really pleased with the outcome and if I could take a picture inside that is worth a hoot I'd show you the results..........maybe when the sun comes out again I can do so.

Right you are Phil, rust is what it removes alright! Check this out, a little better representation of it's handy work. After just a few minutes of rubbin on it, GONE!
Before and After shots! The last pic wasn't even rust on the blade!
