New from Louisiana
I am new to this forum and I really do enjoy it. I collect knives; any kind; any shape; any condition. I probably don't collect too many first class ones because I don't like to pay what they cost. I would like to buy broken knives and fix them to a c onditio that they have handles and blades rather than see them thrown away. I have made fixed blade knives; friction folders; I make blades for the folders that I cain't find blades that will physically fit. My wile and I make jewelery, we paint,I have made some furniture and some other thing. Sorry I didn't mean to carry on. My wife, kids and grandkid get me knives as presents for any appropriate occasion. I probably will be asking a lot of questions on various parts of this forum.

I really do feel welcome on this forum. I intend to ask more questions and make more comments. Is there a length limit to these posts. I have lost several before I was thru.

Re: New from Louisiana
Hey Jerry - Where in Louisiana do you live? When we would go down to visit my wife's family, we would always get a jam session going. Down there in SW La. they played the same Bluegrass tunes but the style was just a little different, especially the fiddle.
